At the heart of Asia, with world-class infrastructure and a business-friendly environment backed by the rule of law, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (Hong Kong SAR) is one of the world’s top destinations for foreign direct investment. The Hong Kong SAR Government actively attracts foreign direct investment.
The Commerce and Economic Development Bureau oversees the work on inward investment promotion. It is assisted by Invest Hong Kong, and the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Offices. A number of non-government organisations including the Hong Kong Trade Development Council also contribute actively to the promotion of Hong Kong as an investment and business hub. Through these agencies, the Government provides a wide range of advisory and support services to companies interested in investing in Hong Kong as well as those that have already invested in Hong Kong.
